Standing over 1,600 feet high, the Shanghai World Financial Center will be one of the tallest buildings in the world, and the tallest structure in mainland China, when it is completed in 2008. It will house offices, a five-star hotel, a shopping mall and conference facilities, as well as the world's highest observation platform.
On August 14, 2007 at about 4 p.m., a fire broke out in the area of the 62nd floor. Smoke billowed from the upper part of the building, company officials said. An initial investigation showed that workers’ electrical wildings caused the fire, reported China's official Xinhua News Agency. However, working with ONE SEVEN® systems integrated with the trucks of the Shanghai fire department, firefighters extinguished the blaze about 90 minutes later.
Our ONE SEVEN® technology kept the loss of property minimal. In fact, no injuries were reported from the fire.

The building's sprinkler system wasn't functional yet. So, firemen carried hoses up to the burning floor, then pumped the foam up from the ground.
On The German Autobahn
Today, German fire fighters extinguish more Autobahn vehicle fires than ever with the ONE SEVEN® foam system.

Dropping from planes
In 1999 GIMAEX successfully tested the process of dropping ONE SEVEN® class A foam from planes.
The ONE SEVEN® foam concentrate
is harmless to health, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable.
