The HazMat truck is a fire fighting vehicle that can also be used for environmental protection and cleanup. The vehicle is equipped with special devices that can take immediate cleanup measures after hazmat accidents.
It has enough room and weight reserves for storing as much equipment and material as possible, according to the DIN guidelines and additional loading to meet the local requirements.
The technical equipment (like hoses and shut-off valves) is stored in the front compartments.
Personal equipment as well as breathing protection, walkie-talkies and the protective suits will be stored in the rear cell.
